Gratitude is the Sentiment of the Season
November 24, 2017
grat·i·tude
noun: the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.
For centuries, crocheting and knitting have brought people together to create both practical and beautiful pieces. This time of year, as we see our friends gathered around our communal table and wandering through the yarn-filled rooms, we are filled with joy from that sense of place, sense of community, which you have helped create. It is that overwhelming sense of community that makes Blazing Needles such a special place for such a diverse group of people. Whether you come in every week to crochet/knit at the table or you live out of state and stop by when you can, you contribute to the energy and creative drive that encompasses Blazing Needles.
Local yarn stores are the catalyst that bring together fiber enthusiasts whose lives wouldn't otherwise intersect and connects them with the tools they need to create amazing pieces. Exposure to store samples, feeling various fibers, seeing colors in real life, and taking classes from local experts are a small benefit when compared to the sense of belonging that customers gain through the shop community.
Local businesses are important to cities and communities for many reasons and we are incredibly grateful for the support you have shown us throughout the past (almost) ten years. Thank you for your support throughout our growing process. We hope to continue to provide you with high-quality products and service for years to come. Your support is the highest praise we can imagine and we are so grateful to you for your role in our success.
Thank you.
We hope you had a marvelous Thanksgiving reveling in family and friends.
