Do you find choosing colors for Fair Isle patterns challenging? If so, this is the perfect class for you! In this class Joy will teach you about the science of color – the first 3 Key Steps in successful color selection. Then, using graph paper and color pencils, you will plan a color sequence – the 4th Key Step in creating a successful color project. Finally, we will swatch, swatch, swatch! By the end of this class, you will have a solid understanding of how to use a basic color wheel to plan out color combinations and proportions for successful Fair Isle knitted projects.

Skills Learned: How to use a basic color wheel to choose a color pallet that is cohesive and allows for blending and movement through a Fair Isle Pattern.
Required Skills: Must be confident in stranded knitting, Must be able to knit with 2 colors in one row.
