In this workshop, led by master designer Tayler Harris, you will learn a myriad of general finishing techniques designed to help your handknits shine! Learn how to weave in ends invisibly, wet- block & steam blocked pieces, and proper knitwear storage to make your precious makes last a lifetime.
When: Wednesday, February 22nd, 6-8pm
Skills Learned: Proper finishing and storage of handknit garments
Required Skills: Must be confident with knitting, purling and reading your stitches.
Homework: Please knit (stockinette) two 6x6 swatches in worsted weight yarn before class making sure to use a garter stitch selvedge edge. Leave your ends out so we can go over weaving in. Knitters will then seam their swatches & block them.
