Return & Store Policies

Thank You + Farewell 

Effective immediately the following policies apply to all sales:

  • As per our standard sale item policy, all sales are final. No returns, exchanges, etc.
  • Winding and shipping will be first come, first served. As a result, there may be a significant wait for winding/order shipping. For winding in-store purchases specifically, you may be asked to provide a method of contact and to pick up your yarn once it has been wound. 
  • We are no longer offering in-store pick up.
  • $6 flat-rate shipping applies to all Utah orders, $8 flat-rate shipping applies to all domestic orders, $30 flat-rate shipping applies to all international orders. We are unable to offer free shipping at this time.
  • We will make every effort to ensure you receive matching dyelots, but cannot promise them. You may receive multiple dyelots on sale yarns.
  • In the event our inventory is incorrect and we do not have what you order, we will pull what is available and, depending on the item(s), will contact you or issue an immediate refund. 
  • Only FULL rewards cards may be used on all in-store purchases moving forward, new stamps will not be applied 
  • We continue to honor gift cards, please use your active gift cards as soon as possible; we are no longer issuing new gift cards.
  • All sales limited to stock on hand, we can no longer special order items.
  • Farewell sale policies supersede any other store policies

RETURN POLICY

Any purchases made on or after August 11, 2023 are not returnable or exchangeable.

Full price, unused yarn in its original condition may be exchanged for store credit within 60 days of purchase. Partial returns on Kits (such as unused yarn) are not accepted--kits must be returned in their entirety. For kits that include a digital pattern, your store credit will reflect the cost of the yarn but not the pattern as there is no way to return a digital item. We do not accept exchanges/returns on yarn that has been wound, sale yarn, books, needles, notions, digital items, accessories, or special order items.

When exchanging yarn, shipping costs to and from Blazing Needles will be your responsibility, unless your order was filled incorrectly. Your store credit will reflect the price of the returned item(s) minus any shipping cost.

We strongly suggest that you insure all items to be exchanged. We cannot assume responsibility for exchanged items lost or damaged in shipping.

We ask that you please contact us prior to shipping any yarn for exchange or store credit, so that we may keep an eye out for its delivery.

 

SALE ITEMS

Effective August 11, 2023, all sales will fall under the "sale items" policy. We will make every effort to ensure you receive matching dyelots, but cannot promise them. You may receive multiple dyelots on sale yarns without notice.  Sale-priced items are considered "final sale". There are no exchanges, returns, refunds, or store credits allowed on sale items.

 

PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy policy sets out how Blazing Needles uses and protects any information that you give Blazing Needles when you use this Web site.

Blazing Needles is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified
when using this Web site, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Blazing Needles may collect the following information:

    1. your name
    2. contact information including email address
    3. demographic information such as postal code, preferences, and interests
    4. other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

    Blazing Needles will never sell your information.

    SECURITY

    We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

    COLORS

    We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on these pages. We cannot guarantee that the display of any color on your computer monitor or other device screen will be accurate. 

    BACK ORDERS

    Effective August 11, 2023, we can no longer back order items.

     

    DYE LOTS

    For regular price items, when we fill an order we always first attempt to select yarn from the same dye lot. If the quantity to do so is not available, we will contact you promptly and see what your preference is. If you prefer your yarn to have the same dye lot, we will back order the yarn, and fill the order when inventory is renewed. If the yarn is discontinued, we may not be able to fulfill the order in a uniform dye lot. For items on sale we do not guarantee matching dye lots and you may receive multiple dye lots without contact to confirm your preference in that instance.


    SPECIAL ORDERS

    Effective August 11, 2023, we can no longer special order any items.
