Brioche Cowl Class

Brioche knitting creates a beautiful, double-sided fabric but sometimes the skill can be intimidating to learn on your own.  Don't worry! Anne will have you loving this design technique in no time!  

You will need just two skeins of Woolfook Far and one skein of Noro Tennen to make this beautiful, soft cowl.  

Date: Tuesdays, April 25th and May 2nd

Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Cost: $50.00

Requirements: VERY confident with knitting and purling.   (You will NOT be learning Magic Loop, so you need to be proficient with that technique if that is the way you choose to knit this project.)

Homework: Purchase materials before class

Materials:

  • US 9 32" cord
OR
  • US 9 double pointed needles

AND

  • 2 skeins of Woolfolk Far (two of same color or contrasting)
  • 1 skein of Noro Tennen
  • Pattern for Hester's Cowl
  • Scrap yarn in two colors, worsted weight (for practice at the start of class) and US 9 16 inch circulars for practice (if you don't have these we will have extras on hand)
