This workshop will be all about refining familiar/ popular cast on techniques, as well as learning new ones! Well loved local designer, Tayler Harris will guide you through multiple popular methods including: Long- Tail (both knitwise & purlwise), German twisted, 1x1 tubular, Provisional (crochet & 1- step) backward loop and alternate cable cast on!
When: Thursday, July 20th from 10:30AM -12:30PM
Skills Learned: Cast on mastery using several often used methods.
Required Skills: Must be confident with knitting, purling & recognizing your stitches. Must be able to fix simple mistakes.
Homework: Simply purchase worsted weight yarn (multiple skeins in different colors is ideal) and size US 8 needles before class.
