Midnight in Berlin (Wednesdays)

Are you ready to make your first shawl or your 52nd? Krisee is thrilled to be teaching the Midnight in Berlin class. This gorgeous shawl, designed by Melanie Berg, contains techniques including mosaic knitting, slipped stitches, and an i-cord edge. Whether you are an adventurous beginner (must be enthusiastic!) or an advanced knitter, this class will offer plenty of opportunities to grow your knitting skills and confidence.

When: Wednesdays, March 13th, 20th, and April 17th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Required Skills: Must be very comfortable knitting, purling, and casting on

Taught Skills: 

  • Mosaic knitting
  • Increasing
  • I-Cord edge
  • Carrying yarn along an edge
  • Slip stitches
  • Minor how to read your knitting and mistake repair

Homework: None for first class!


  • US 4 and US 7 both 32" circular needles
  • Brooklyn Tweed Peerie - two contrasting colors, appropriate amount yardage (approximately three skeins each)
  • Shawls by Melanie Berg
  • General Notions (stitch markers, scissors, etc)
  • Highlighter Tape strongly recommended
