We've all been there, stuck on our project and frustrated as we try to figure out how to fix a mistake in our knitting! Learn to master your mistakes from our resident expert (and beginning knit teacher) Casey! In this class she will walk you through the fundamentals of fixing issues with your project; participants will dive into dropped stitches, basic pattern reading, twisted stitches, lifelines and more!
When: Wednesday, February 15th from 6-8PM
Skills Learned:This class is designed to teach you the skills and give you the confidence to identify knitting mistakes and how to fix them so you proceed forward with your project.
Required Skills: Must be confident with knitting and purling.
Homework: Please bring a 10" wide x 4" tall swatch with the left half in garter stitch and the right half in stockinette stitch, OR a 4" x 4" garter stitch swatch WITH a 4" x 4" stockinette swatch--do not bind off as you will work through mistakes using the live stitches. We recommend using a light colored worsted weight yarn with large needles. A stitch fixer or approximately size D crochet hook is also recommended.
